David Halloran Turkey Calls

At the age of twelve I first began experimenting with making calls in my dad’s shop.  Those first calls were pretty rough I'll admit, you really had to work to get a turkey sound.  But I kept tweaking things always working toward that  perfect call, and who would have thought that now just seven years later my calls are nationally recognized and truly rival the best calls in the country.

  Each call I make is hand-crafted from strategically picked wood species of the highest grade, keeping the grain, density, and age in mind. My calls have been proven successful on each of the four sub-species of
the wild turkey and also the Goulds in Mexico.

To commemorate David's impressive wins with the Crystal Mistress he is introducing a limited edition version of the call. Still featured in a cedar and soft maple laminate pot, the call's inside slate graphics have been individually hand painted and now have been engraved with the words DD Adams Award Winner 2010. NWTF Grand National Competition gives
David Top Honors
2010 DD Adams Award Winner
Just announced today, February 19th, the NWTF Grand National Call Competition crowned David Halloran Turkey Calls a major winner. The brand new Crystal Mistress (new for 2010) was awarded not only best of Category (Glass Calls) but also took home the DD Adams Award given annually to the best pot call entered into the competition. This is the first DD Adams win for David and has been a long time goal for him. Rounding out a great day for David, his slate call took home another first place ribbon, being named the best slate call of the show. Full story on the News Page.
